1)    Never use rags to light the flare. But, use proper gun to do it.
2)    Study installing the automatic ignition system
3)    Mark the area around the flare and use sign to show that it is hazard.
4)    Hazard entry permit is required
5)    When approaching the flare area, use gas monitor to measure the level 
6)    Radio is must for quick communication in case of emergency.
7)    Prepare “ Emergency Procedures” in case of flare problems.

1.  Positive isolation upstream and downstream the control (isolation certificate).
2.  Release the pressure after isolation.
3.  Using copper hammer and PPE.
4.  Car parking out side the well about 50 m.  
5.  Radio is must for quick communication in case of emergency.
1.   The crane & shackles and slings should be certified.
2.   No body walking under the load.
3.   Housekeeping the area before the work.
